Awe, Susan, this is fantastic. :) Your daughters are so talented and athletic. It's no wonder you're so proud of them!
ReplyDeleteMy pride is not in her athleticism--but in her persistence and determination.
ReplyDeleteClark has a track club, with no facilities, and no throwing team. She recruited another swimmer who had done track in high school, and became the throwing team. With no practice facilities, she went over to WPI one afternoon last week to throw, and then put herself on the line to do something she loved.
And the coolest part? This almost-21-year-old woman called her parents because she wanted us to watch.
You bet I'm proud!
